Snowflake is...
a BOY!

Today we learned that Addy will be a big sister to a baby brother!  I knew something was a bit different with this pregnancy than when I was pregnant with Addy, but not too much.

Baby Snowflake is a VERY active little baby so far.  Even the ultrasound tech said, "wow...he's moving like crazy!".  I've felt his little kicks and punches for a few weeks now.  He was a happy baby today!

I think I've learned a lot about little girls...now to learn a lot about my little baby boy :-).

July 23, 2010

We went to dinner last night.

We went to Olive Garden.

We got there early.

We beat the crowd.  We still took 2 hours for a simple dinner.

Why?

Addy wanted to see every baby that walked in.  She would gush and say, "Oh, mommy...a babbbbbby."  And she'd sit there and smile and stare at them.

I think she's just a little bit excited for her upcoming sibling, what do you think?

July 6, 2010

My dear, sweet Addy.

Today you told me that I not only had a baby girl in my tummy, but also a baby boy. You followed that up with, "I want two of them in there, Mommy. I do. A sister and a brother." Well, I can say we have one sweet baby sister or baby brother on the way in January and tomorrow I get to go hear the heartbeat once again. And here's to Addy, the big sister who loves to replay this over and over and over again...it's snowflake at 11 weeks.

Today was a magic eight ball sort of day. You remember those things right? You ask your question, it answers you. You ask the same question minutes later and you get a different reply?! So Addy has been saying that the baby growing in my tummy is a baby sister, a baby girl, her baby sister, etc. Tonight she gets home, kisses my growing tummy and says, "baby brother". I asked her in all my confusion, "do you think this is a baby girl or a baby boy?" And she replied, "baby boy". You decide. I should take bets on this! :-)
