This weekend has been quite interesting. With a bout of food poisoning that hit both Sean and I, Addy got to take care of her mommy and daddy as she was the only one not hit! She did a very good job of letting us sleep and tip toeing down the hall to check on whoever was taking a nap. She brought us water and even put on movies for us. She was an angel for us.
We were so happy to see how well she took care of us that it made us very happy to learn that our dear Addy will become a big sister in early January 2011!
We asked Addy if she would like a baby in the house first. She said, "okay". :) Then we asked again and told her she could be a big sister...one who could teach the baby how to eat, how to get dressed and how to play with our doggies. Addy responded with, "can the baby sleep in my room with me?" She was very happy but we haven't pushed it more than that.
